The 6th formers of Lewes Old Grammar School did themselves justice in this year’s A-Levels. The A-Level pass rate was 97.7% with A* to A at 40.3%, A* to B at 70% and A* to C at 82.2%. The grades our pupils have achieved are a reflection of their hard work and dedication, and also of the commitment and partnership between staff and students at LOGS.
Our top performing students have all got their first choice places at university and will embark upon a range of courses including Medicine, Politics, International Management and French, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics. Head Boy, Sasha Grantham, achieved 3 A*s. Our Deputy Head Boy, Miles Nnadi, achieved 2 A*s and an A.

Miles with Meaning: LOGS Students Go the Distance for Cancer Research UK Throughout March and April, students from Years 7 – 10 completed a 4K Race for Life in support of Cancer Research UK, a challenge that combined fitness, fun and fundraising. James Brandon takes first place at a county table tennis competition Lewes Old Grammar School pupil James Brandon, 12, won the U13 East Sussex Individual Schools’ Championships at Sussex University in late January, and will now go forward as the East Sussex representative at the National Schools’ Individual Championships Final in April. James is currently ranked 58th in the country
Raising Money for Red Nose Day On 20th March, students worked together to raise money for Red Nose Day in support of BBC Comic Relief. The School Council planned a fun-filled day for the whole Senior School, with events and activities taking place at breaktime and lunch time. In exchange for a £1 donation, students wore red clothes in support
