Lewes Old Grammar School celebrates our Sixth Form pupils’ outstanding 2026 A-Level and BTEC results: 59% of A-Level grades are A*-B; 77% are A*-C with a pass rate of 99%. Of our BTEC grades, 12.5% are Double Distinction Stars; 25% are Distinction Stars and 50% are Distinctions, with all grades at Merit or above.
Congratulations to our young people for their spirited, hard work, their support of one another, and their well-deserved and excellent results; we hope they will take all they have learned and experienced about the value of personal commitment and the importance of friendship and community into their future plans, many of which involve outstanding university places.
As we celebrate the achievements of our Sixth Form students, we are delighted to reflect on many memorable highlights from their final two years at LOGS. Our students have approached their studies with dedication, while also making a positive contribution to wider school life and embracing a range of events and experiences that will create lasting memories.
If you were to ask any of our Sixth Form students, many would say that the school trips they have experienced have been among the highlights of their time at LOGS. Alongside our diverse curriculum, the enriching school trips offered at LOGS have supported the development of our Year 13 students, offering valuable opportunities for learning beyond the classroom in locations such as South Africa and Costa Rica.
This year, Sixth Form students have truly shone in the spotlight, delivering outstanding performances in the school’s production of Little Shop of Horrors as well as at numerous events throughout the school calendar, including annual Christmas carol concerts and our winter Beat the Darkness fundraising event.
Alongside their success in the arts, students have also excelled in sport, representing the school at the ISA National Swimming Championships as well as a range of other competitions. Many have further supported the wider community, assisting with Race for Life events and contributing to Sports Day alongside the PE department. Perhaps one of the most memorable sporting events was the Sixth Form team building session at Cuckmere Haven, where students tried out paddleboarding, kayaking and raft building!
We are confident that the memories our Sixth Form pupils have made at LOGS, along with all they have learned from one another and from their dedicated teachers, form tutors and the wider teaching and support team will give them joy and stay with them always as they step forward into the adventures that await them.
Year 10 student, Chanel Prichard, teams up with former Masterchef winner FORMER Masterchef winner and owner of Hove’s Etch restaurant Steven Edwards has teamed up with LOGS year 10 student Chanel Prichard to raise money for Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex.
