LOGS is incredibly proud of Year 10’s Daniel Macdiarmid

LOGS is incredibly proud of Year 10’s Daniel Macdiarmid who has, over the years, raised thousands of pounds for Arundel’s Chestnut Tree House hospice through completing sponsored challenges.

Having pulled off his most daring to date – dangling from a coastal Welsh cliff face on a platform with his older brother all night – he was able to buy these six Phillips Ambilight TVs for the children’s hospice which he handed over this month. They will be placed in individual bedrooms.

Dan raised £7685 when he spent the night on the cliffside in Wales and the money will be spent on toys and goods for the children.

Headmaster Mr Blewitt said: “Daniel has shown amazing empathy with children who have been dealt a very tough hand in life – and that shows remarkable maturity. His courage and determination to improve the lives of the children in the hospice in a small way fills me with pride as his headmaster. “
