Introducing LOGS Kart Team

LOGS is very proud to sponsor three Year 8 pupils who are excelling in the world of karting.

Josh Coombes, Monty Mitchell and Alex Laing make up the LOGS Kart Team and will be competing in this year’s high-octane Teamsport National British Schools Kart Championship (BSKC) which is aimed at school pupils aged 13 to 18 years old.

Josh, who is the captain, has been racing for a couple of years and wanted to get a school team organized to represent LOGS and Mr Blewitt has kindly agreed to sponsor the team.

The team took part in a practice session at Teamsport Lancing indoor track recently and all three drivers showed excellent speed and kart control which bodes well for the local finals which take place at Lancing in March 2023.

These finals will consist of 6 x 12 min individual sprint races (each driver races in two heats) with points being awarded on finishing positions.  Should LOGS Kart Team qualify from this local final then it’s on to regional finals which take place in London Docklands on May 10.  The National Finals take place at Teamsport Warrington on June 16.
